Paying monthly for your energy means the payment will be taken from your account at around the same time each month.
We calculate your estimated energy use over the whole year and divide it across 12 months.
This does mean the amount you pay each month may not reflect the exact amount of energy you’ve used over the period.
Your energy use changes through the year, so at some points you'll be a little ahead (in credit) and at others a little behind (in debit), this is completely normal.
