The Social Housing (Regulation) Act says that landlords must assess and upgrade homes to improve energy efficiency and living standards.
To do this every social home must have a valid EPC by 2030 - aiming for an EPC C or better to meet Net-Zero goals. This supports national targets to reduce carbon emissions, lower energy bills, and tackle fuel poverty.
